Calling All Aspiring Swim Coaches
Join the Stingrays for the 2025 Season! Applications Due Dec. 15
The Stonegate Stingrays is excited to announce that we are looking for enthusiastic coaches for our 2025 season! Whether you have previous coaching experience or this is your first venture into coaching, we welcome your passion for swimming and dedication to mentor our young swimmers. We are seeking applicants for the following positions:
Head Coach: Candidates should ideally be at least one year post high school graduation and have prior coaching and swim experience (preferably within the Rocky Mountain Swim League). The successful candidate will be a strong and positive leader, love working with kids of all ages, and willing to help shape the future of our team! See the full job description HERE.
Age Group Coaches: Candidates should ideally have prior coaching and swim experience, (preferably within the Rocky Mountain Swim League). Jr. Coaches: Candidates should have completed 8th grade by summer 2025 and have prior experience as a Stingrays swimmer. Successful candidates will be positive role models for our young swimmers, able to work well with our youngest swimmers (4-5 years old), and have an enthusiastic, team-first attitude. Winter Solstice Luminaries
✨ Luminary Fundraiser
Join us in bringing a warm glow to our neighborhood! This year, we are once again selling luminary packs to light up Stonegate on the Winter Solstice, December 21st.
Each $15 Luminary Pack includes:
• 12 brown paper bags
• Sand for a sturdy base
• Tea lights for a soft, inviting glow
Pickup Details:
Pre-ordered luminary packs will be available for pickup during the Santa Sleigh Ride on December 2nd between 10 am - 12 pm at the South Pool. To pre-order, simply Venmo @SGStingrays with the quantity and "luminaries" in the comments. We recommend placing luminaries 12-18 inches apart along your driveway and sidewalk for a beautiful effect.

2024 Season Updates
2024 Volunteer Structure: We're powered by the dedication and support of our amazing families! As we gear up for another incredible season, we're rolling out a new volunteer structure for 2024. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or looking to get involved for the first time, there's a place for you on our team.
- April 21st- Volunteer shift sign-up begins at 10am
- Points system instead of 'shift system' to account for volunteer positions filled.
- Swimtopia has made it extremely easy to count for volunteer shifts, as long as points are assigned to each volunteer shift.
- Over the winter we have reviewed all of the volunteer shifts and assigned points based on a few different factors. We will send out a breakdown of the points and their shifts prior to Volunteer Sign-Ups on April 21st.
- Each family will be required to earn 5 points during the season.
- Mini Rays will be required to earn 1 point during the season.
- Goodbye Volunteer Deposit Checks! We can't stress enough how great Swimtopia is for running our swim team. With the addition of Conditional Fees at registration we are able to charge a Volunteer Deposit as a conditional fee per family. The $300 fee will be applied during registration but only charged to the pre-approved credit card after the season is over, IF you don't earn your 5 volunteer points.
Stingray Sponsorship Opportunities: We're on the lookout for sponsors to support our fantastic team! We have three different sponsorship levels available, each offering unique benefits and visibility opportunities. If you or anyone you know might be interested in partnering with us please share this link with them.
