Stonegate Stingrays

Welcome to the Stonegate Stingrays, a community swim team affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Swim League. Our program caters to swimmers up to 18 years old, offering a platform for skill development and community engagement.

During our season we participate five swim meets that begins the first Saturday after Memorial Day. The season culminates with Championship Week, typically scheduled for the first full week after the Fourth of July. During championship week, each age group will have a preliminary meet during the week and the top 16 swimmers (from the league) from each event will participate in the Finals on Saturday, hosted by Stonegate in 2024! Swimmers aiming for Championship Week participation MUST participate two dual meets at the beginning of the season.

Volunteers are integral to our operations, and we appreciate the support of parents who contribute through various activities outlined on our volunteer page.

Led by dedicated coaches, including former Stingrays, our program is divided into age groups: 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13 and over. Each swimmer will practice with their age group and their age group coach that will focus attention to aid in their development.

Practice sessions are held three times a day post-Memorial Day and twice a day from mid-May to Memorial Day, providing ample opportunities for swimmers to hone their skills. Our mission is to help every swimmer achieve their full potential while fostering a culture of sportsmanship and teamwork.
