We hope you are well! The 2025 swim season is just around the corner, and we have some exciting updates to share. From a stellar coaching lineup to key dates and volunteer opportunities, there’s a lot to look forward to. So grab your goggles and let’s dive in!

Meet the 2025 Coaches: More Support, More Flexibility, More Fun!

We are thrilled to introduce our 2025 coaching lineup—bringing not only experience and enthusiasm but also a new structure designed to enhance swimmer development.

This year, we’re assigning two dedicated coaches per age group, allowing us to welcome more year-round, competitive swimmers into our coaching staff and keep experience coaches that have recently joined the workforce! In the past, scheduling conflicts made it tough to bring these coaches on board, but with this adjustment, our swimmers will benefit from their experience while our coaches maintain the flexibility they need for their own training and growing. Each age group coach will communicate directly with families about their schedules.

Committee Head Vacancy – Get Involved!

We have a committee head position open, and this is your chance to make a difference! Plus, committee heads receive a free athlete registration. If you’re ready to help make the Stingrays even better, consider stepping into one of these important roles:

• Fundraising/Sponsors – Help secure sponsors for the team in April and May and organize summer fundraising events, including the Swim-a-Thon.

Key Registration Dates – Mark Your Calendars!

Whether you’re returning or joining for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome you to the Stingrays family. Registration opens soon, so don’t miss out!

• March 30th – Mini Ray Registration
  • Ages 4-6, $200/swimmer, starts June 2nd
  • Swimmer assessments May 27th and May 28th (details to follow registration)
  • Must be 4 years old by June 1
  • Session 1: Monday/Wednesday, 9:00-9:45 AM (32 spots)
  • Session 2: Tuesday/Thursday, 9:00-9:45 AM (20 spots)
• April 6th – Stingray Registration
  • Ages 4-18, $200/swimmer, Practices begin May 12
  • Younger swimmers should be able to swim a length of the pool

Volunteer Requirements 

We’re powered by the dedication of our amazing families! This year, we’re continuing with our points-based volunteer system to ensure every family contributes to the success of the team.

• Each family is required to earn 6 points during the season, with at least one point during Championship week.
• Mini Ray families are required to earn 1 point during the season.
• A $300 Volunteer Deposit will be applied at registration but only charged at the end of the season if volunteer requirements aren’t met.

A detailed breakdown of volunteer points will be sent out before sign-ups open on April 13th at 10 AM.
