Hope this email finds you swimmingly well! We've got some exciting updates and news to share with you all for the upcoming 2024 season.

Meet the 2024 Coaches: Drumroll, please! We're thrilled to announce our coaching lineup for 2024. Get ready to meet the talented coaches who will be leading us to victory this season. Let's give them a warm Stingrays welcome!

Co-Head Coaches

Committee Head Vacancies: Calling all leaders! We have some vacant committee head positions waiting to be filled. If you're passionate about driving change and making a splash in our community, this could be your chance! Plus, committee heads receive a FREE athlete registration. Dive in and make a difference!

• Fundraising/Sponsors- Will be responsible for gaining sponsors for the team, in April and May, and fundraising events in the summer including the Swim-a-Thon. Perfect for the extrovert that doesn't mind asking anyone for money.
• Meet Manager- Will be responsible for all pre and post meet athlete entries including creating the entry reports and the meet heat sheet. It sounds daunting but there are a ton of training videos to help. Perfect for a tech savvy person.
• Scoring- Will be stationed in the "white tent" on home meet days and will be responsible for entering DQs from the Head Referee and ensuring race clock starts for each heat. Perfect for someone that can wait around until they're needed.
• Starter- We are looking for anyone that would be interested in learning about the Starter roll (The 'take your mark' person) and shadowing for the 2024 season. You would be on your own for the 2025 season after one year of shadowing. Perfect for someone that likes to focus on one task and one task only.

• April 7th- Mini Ray registration begins at 10am.
  • 4-6 year olds. $200/swimmer. May 28th - July 3rd.
  • Must be 4yrs old by June 1st.
  • Session 1: M/W 9-9:45a. 32 spots.
  • Session 2: T/Th 9-9:45a. 20 spots.
  • More info can be found on the website.
• April 14th- Stingray registration begins at 10am.
  • 4-18 year olds. $200/swimmer. Practice begins May 13th.
  • Kids on the younger end should be able to swim a length of the pool.
  • As we prepare for the season more info is being added to the website.

2024 Volunteer Structure: We're powered by the dedication and support of our amazing families! As we gear up for another incredible season, we're rolling out a new volunteer structure for 2024. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or looking to get involved for the first time, there's a place for you on our team.

• April 21st- Volunteer shift sign-up begins at 10am
• Points system instead of 'shift system' to account for volunteer positions filled.
  • Swimtopia has made it extremely easy to count for volunteer shifts, as long as points are assigned to each volunteer shift.
  • Over the winter we have reviewed all of the volunteer shifts and assigned points based on a few different factors. We will send out a breakdown of the points and their shifts prior to Volunteer Sign-Ups on April 21st.
• Each family will be required to earn 5 points during the season. One of the points needs to be during the Championship week, either a preliminary meet or finals.
• Mini Rays will be required to earn 1 point during the season.
• Goodbye Volunteer Deposit Checks! We can't stress enough how great Swimtopia is for running our swim team. With the addition of Conditional Fees at registration we are able to charge a Volunteer Deposit as a conditional fee per family. The $300 fee will be applied during registration but only charged to the pre-approved credit card after the season is over, IF you don't earn your 5 volunteer points.

 Stingray Sponsorship Opportunities: We're on the lookout for sponsors to support our fantastic team! We have three different sponsorship levels available, each offering unique benefits and visibility opportunities. If you or anyone you know might be interested in partnering with us please share this link with them.
