Dear Stonegate Stingrays Families,

As the 2024 season approaches, we want to remind you of the upcoming volunteer sign-up, starting on April 21st at 10:00 AM. We appreciate your commitment to our community swim team and want to ensure clarity regarding our volunteer point system.

Key Points: Each family is required to earn 5 points throughout the season. There is no requirement to earn points during the Championship Week. However, points are of higher value during Championship Week, allowing you to fulfill your requirement more efficiently. 

• You can view this spreadsheet for a breakdown of dates, jobs, and point values, that might help you plan your volunteer points.
• Please know this spreadsheet does not include the number of people required to run the meet, there will be overlap.
• Volunteer Sign-Up will be on the 2024 Registration page at 10am on Sunday, April 21st.
• Mini-Rays ONLY families you only have to earn 1 point and you have the opportunity to sign up for your shifts now. 

We apologize for any confusion regarding previous communications stating that one point needed to be earned during prelims or finals. This is incorrect. The requirement remains at 5 points total, with shifts during Championship Week valued higher for faster point accumulation.

Don't want to worry about earning points? We still have a few vacant coordinator positions and we would love to have you! 

• Social- We are looking for that will oversee all the social events for the team, they have been scheduled for the 2024 summer so your responsibilities will be to execute. 
• 
  Fundraising/Sponsorship- Will be responsible for gaining sponsors for the team, in April and May, and fundraising events in the summer including the Swim-a-Thon. 
• Starter Shadow- Shadow the starter this season and become the lead starter for the 2025 season.
